K202 Oral Final Exam Guidelines

Be aware:

• Almost every question is intended for you to use a grammar pattern or useful expressions from the textbook in your answers. Or try to use a pattern to ask questions.
• Be spontenous and interactive:
  • Give comments or show your emotion on the interviewer's apprearance or utterance, using ~네요, 아 그러세요, ~잖아요, ~거든요
  • Use such patterns as: ~게요? . . .~는 중이에요, ~어/아야지요, N-(이)요, ~(으)ㄴ/는/(으)ㄹ 것 같아요
• At some points of interviews, you are supposed to use hearsay expressions. Be ready to use hearsay expressions spontaneously; otherwise you may be forced to use it.
• The best way to prepare for the oral exam is for you to get familiar with the conversations in the textbook.

Role Plays

1. You went to a clothing store. Have a conversation with a store clerk with regard to the current fashion, ask an advice for what style/color of clothes look good on you, ask permission to try on a few clothes.
2. You are thinking of moving from the current residence. Have a conversation on what type of residence  would be available, how convenient the place would be for doing laundry, commuting to school, doing grocery shopping, etc.
