Giving a command, request, suggestion or instruction of an action
- Giving a command, request or suggestion of an action refers to an action that the listener is to carry out, and thus the Honorfic Ending ~(으)세요 must be used.
- Some of the expressions of wishing a luck take a form of giving a command, request, suggestion or encouragement:
- 시험 잘 보세요 ((Do well in the exam)!
- 안녕히 가세요/계세요 (Go in peace/Stay in peace)!
- 잘 하세요 (Do well)!
- 열심히 공부하세요 (Study hard)!
